“ Went here on a random weekday to get some lunch to go. Friends got some carne asada tacos. I got a carne asada burrito and taquitos. The burrito was pretty simple, good carne asada, some rice, and a little salsa. The taquitos were that perfect crispness I was looking for, topped with lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. Both the red and green salsas were delicious and spicy. I will definitely be back to support this quaint business run by very nice people, putting out really good food. ”
“ Awesome customer service. Awesome food. They carry different types of meals. They also carry vegetarian meals. Chips and salsa are amazing. ”
“ What a great find! I was looking for an authentic place I could stop on my drive from the bay to sequoia and I saw this place was right off the road and looked like a really cute little spot. I stopped at an off time between lunch and dinner. Was greeted by both people working... the cook and the server. I got a combo and was told I could choose any meat for both items. I got a chicken enchilada and tostada. I didn't expect chips and salsa to come out while I was waiting and the salsa was some of the best I've ever had. Food came out quickly and was incredible. Very fresh and the rice and beans were amazing. The atmosphere of the whole place is great... seems everyone who came in was known to them and things just felt so warm and welcoming. My stop here was part of a pretty long road trip and this was by far one of the most memorable places I had a chance to visit. ”
“ Solid hole in the wall Mexican spot in the actual middle of nowhere. My wife and I drove by it after a weekend in the Sierras and I just couldn't help myself from stopping in. And I'm really glad I did, the food was great and the prices were even better! Nothing really special here in terms of service or ambiance but the menu had a decent selection of dishes and my carnitas burrito was everything I hoped it would be. I would certainly recommend this to anyone passing through! ”
“ Don't let the looks of the building influence your decision to eat here. The food and service is amazing. I ended up eating here two of the three days I was in Fresno. Great authentic Mexican food with great chips and salsa! ”
“ Thank you Coronado for your hospitality! Your breakfast burritos were absolutely amazing and along with your customer service made me and my family's experience great. I recommend coming to Coronado because they're fast, affordable and have pretty good red salsa . It had a bit of a kick which I really like. ”
“ 10/10 recommend! Wow. Just wow. The most delicious breakfast burritos I've ever eaten. Honestly. I'm from San Diego and we have some amazing taco shops, but this little gem takes the cake, the trophy, the crown! It's a very simple place, I arrived just as they opened so it was a one man operation. Still, he was friendly and speedy. I just moved to Fresno and have been struggling to find a good burrito place--I'm obsessed with Mexican food so it's been disappointing.... but now I found this place and it's worth the 20 min drive!!! For $10.80 we got a chorizo and a bacon burrito. The chorizo- flavorful, traditionally spiced chorizo, mixed with perfectly cooked egg, tender potatoes, cheese, wrapped in a beautifully toasted flour tortilla. The bacon- THICK (and I mean real thick bacon) cut in large, but still bite sized pieces. Tasty scrambled eggs, tender potatoes, topped with cheese, in a yummy flour tortilla. Both burritos had great ratios, not too much of anything, loaded with flavor, and every single bite had a meat. San Diego usually makes these GIANT burritos, so I was a little surprised by how thin the burritos were. However, I think back to growing up in Mexico and how the burritos there were quite thin, so no biggie. My only complaint is that the burrito left me wanting more! Next time I might have to get 2 to munch on throughout the day. ”
“ Located 10 miles from downtown Fresno, about a 15 min drive, along the 180 West (called Whitesbridge Ave at this point), this cute little Mexican food restaurant makes up just about the whole community of Rolinda. It's only open from 7am-4pm & is closed Sundays so head on over for breakfast/lunch on a Saturday. The food is inexpensive & tasty. I think my nachos cost about $10 & had ample meat, beans, & cheese. All the food is made fresh to order. Expect a little wait because the food is made fresh by a one man show. Although it was a bit dark inside, I thoroughly enjoyed my food & the experience. ”
“ This amazingly awesome restaurant is in the small town of Rolinda. The population has to be less than 100. It seems like everything in this small area is yellow. We came on recommendation from coworkers and so glad we did too! $5.99 breakfast burritos with great portions and homemade tortillas!! The chips and salsa are really nice and the family that owns this place are the sweetest. Being a bit far from town, I'm already considering the additional drive!! ”
